Would you like to learn how to surf? Learn to surf with the majestic Table Mountain in the background. Big Bay, Bloubergstrand, with it's famous view of the mountain, beautiful stretch of beach and newly developed beach front promenade, makes it the ideal spot to learn how to surf or improve your skills.
Surf Big Bay is Big Bay's Surf School of choice, boasting quality equipment and professional coaching with over 20 years of surfing experience. We can do big group lessons and private lessons. Kids aged 5 and older are welcome to join in as well.
Our lessons are 90 minute slots, and most beginners will be up and riding after their first lesson. All equipment, like your wetsuit and surfboard are included. We only have a limited number of slots available, so it's important that you book at least a day in advance! To book, simply fill in the form at the bottom of this page.

Group Lessons (3 or more people) - R450 per person
Lessons include your wetsuit and surfboard. We'll also try our best to get a few decent photos of you in action!
